Shopping and entertainment form some key aspects of the Ranch Triangle neighborhood. Major retailers in the area include west elm, Sephora, Crate & Barrel and Lush Cosmetics. The Ranch Triangle neighborhood is also home to Chicago’s nationally-recognized Steppenwolf Theatre. The Ranch Triangle neighborhood counts the Chicago River as its western border, and spans east to N Halsted St, south to W North Ave and north to W Armitage Ave. The neighborhood is marked by shopping districts like North & Sheffield Commons, North Avenue Collection, and boutique shopping along Armitage Ave.
The Ranch Triangle is part of Chicago’s 43rd Ward and falls in the 60614 zip code area.
The CTA train lines that connect the Ranch Triangle neighborhood to Chicago’s downtown Loop and other city neighborhoods include the Red, Brown and Purple lines. CTA stations to access these trains are found on the perimeter of the neighborhood at North/Clybourn (Red line) and Armitage Ave and Sheffield Ave (Brown and Purple lines).
Bus routes servicing the area include #73 Armitage, #73 Halsted and #72 North. These bus routes also follow along the perimeter of the neighborhood.
For those commuting by car, the 90/94 interstate, is just west of the Chicago River and a short distance from the Ranch Triangle neighborhood.
